Join

As much as we’d like to, we can’t just give everyone who walks in access.

First Steps:

  • Join the Mailing List. Preferably in a mode other than “No Mail” (seriously, you want to get our mail! You’ll miss out on important messages if you select “No Mail”).
  • Join our Discord Server, where we are most active!
  • Come and visit at an open time (i.e. Tuesday Night).
    • Sign a waiver when you enter the space (in order to enter, you must sign it…)
    • Get to know people. Talk about what you want to do.

Still think we’re alright? Continue on…

Next Steps:

  • Come in on a Thursday for an Ingeneers night (6pm)
    • You’ll need to sign Ingenuity’s Waiver as well as ours (and this one must be renewed annually).
    • Get to know the Ingenuity staff and other IngenuityLabs members.
    • Help out on a project!
  • Sign up for an account on the Wiki.
  • Continue coming to open nights. Get involved in discussions on the mailing list/Discord. Contribute to some projects. Teach Classes. Help out.
  • Learn important information
    • Where the light switches and fire extinguishers are.
    • What to do in an emergency.

If being a contributing part of a community is not of interest, this may not be the organization for you.
